Each resident must have completed a residential treatment program before coming to Surf Therapy Recovery. The use of alcohol and/or recreational drugs is not permitted and will not be tolerated. Weekly maid service is provided, but each resident is encouraged to help maintain the cleanliness of our home by keeping their rooms and belongings organized and neat. Residents are responsible for buying their own food and preparing their own meals either individually or through a communal effort; in addition, the kitchen area must be kept clean and organized daily. Each resident will have adequate refrigeration space and pantry space for their groceries as well as their own security safe for valuables and medications.
Residents must attend regularly scheduled house meetings and one-on-one meetings with the house manager to discuss their progress and to review their journal. Attendance at local AA meetings is also required. The frequency of these meetings will be determined by the rehabilitation model the resident is utilizing.
